Consider a daybed or futon as well?futons are extremely versatile, and daybeds are a nice touch if you have an old-fashioned feel in your d?cor. You can also display an ornate dresser or armoire here, especially if you tend to run out of closet space. Either way, whatever furniture you put in that area of the bedroom should try to receive as much natural light as possible, especially if you have a large window or patio.
Let?s say your bedroom isn?t as, well, roomy. You can still maximize your space so that your room doesn?t seem so cramped. Again, futons are a good idea if you?re lacking bed space, as well as twin and full sized beds. While king and queen sized beds are much roomier, you may have to downsize. Draw out plans to see what bedroom furniture would fit where. If you can squeeze it in, place the bed in the middle so two nightstands are on either side of the bed.
